Asthma Review

If you suffer with asthma you will need an anual check-up with the Practice Nurse. Even if you not longer use an inhaler you are still classed as asthmatic and need to be seen.  When you have been seen by the Practice Nurse and she checks your inhaler use, she may be able to take you off this register and record you as 'resolved asthma' if there has been no inhaler use or symptoms for 12 months, so it is important you attend.

You will be sent a reminder letter around the time of your birthday.

If your symptoms are deteriorating or you have any concerns, please make an appointment to the respiratory nurse or a doctor as well.
