The Practice Nurses have their own surgeries where they can help and advise with immunisations and travel health, family planning, cervical smears, blood pressure monitoring, asthma, diabetes, coronary heart disease, diet and smoking. Appointments for the Nurse are made by the receptionist.

Mrsl Hazel Kneale who is our Advanced Practitioner. This a new area of expertise which will bring a new dimension to our Practice Team and is a positive development.

What is an Advanced Practitioner?

An Advanced Practitioner is a registered Nurse who has completed advanced training and achieved academic qualifications to be able to examine, assess, make diagnosis, treat, prescribe and make referrals for patients who present with undiagnosed/undifferentiated problems.
